Uganda IGF 2024: Call for Topics
The Uganda Internet Governance Forum (UIGF) secretariat invites stakeholders passionate about transforming Uganda’s Internet landscape to submit session proposals to shape the forum agenda. The Uganda Internet Governance Forum (UIGF) is annual event that provides a platform for deliberation on internet governance concerns in the country. The forum has since 2006 been a platform for deliberation on internet governance concerns in the country. The forum is held in line with the global Internet Governance Forum a global multi stakeholder platform that facilitates the discussion of public policy issues pertaining to the Internet. This year’s global IGF will be held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the theme is ‘Building our Multi-stakeholder Digital Future’
The Uganda IGF theme is aligned to the global IGF theme and will respond to the Uganda context. The UIGF programme will be developed in line with the following global IGF sub-themes.

- Harnessing Innovation and balancing risks in the digital space.
- Enhancing the digital constributio to peace,development and sustainability.
- Advancing human rights and inclusion in the digital age.
- Improving digital governance for the Internet we want
We thus invite you to select input on key themes/issues that are relevant to the Uganda context that will shape the agenda for this year’s UIGF.
The call for topics shall remain open until April 26, 2024.
