Biography

Johnson Tumusiime is a cybersecurity, privacy, and IT governance specialist with 11+ years’ experience leading large-scale technology and cybersecurity initiatives across Uganda’s public sector (pages 1–2). As Manager, Governance and Risk at NITA‑U, he oversees IT risk identification, GRC frameworks, privacy compliance, vendor risk, and coordinates NISF implementation for government agencies (page 1). He has supported 40+ MDAs, holds certifications including CISM, CISA, EC|CIH, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, and CDPO, and earned an MBA (ICT Management) in 2024 (page 1).
